Back-to-back polar lows push through western North America over the coming days.

At the start of the week I mentioned my gut feeling was that the Western alpine areas of the US/Canada are going to see their next major system.

It’s coming off.

The precursor arrives today through California (Tahoe et al.) and the follow-up system belts SW Canada on Friday and leaves a mass of snow by Saturday, local time.
