Japan, NE USA and Europe lock into some fantastic snowfalls over the next week

Japan is currently in a base-building weather pattern. This pattern has established itself in the region since Friday with ski areas accumulating regular amounts of snowfall on an overnight basis. Most resorts in Hokkaido are picking up 10-20cm per day, while the Central Western ski areas are seeing +30cm a day.

The persistent pattern will remain into the end of next week.
