TC, Wanaka New Zealand just procured a 50cm fall overnight and the crowds suggest it’s ON.

As the seasons transition we see greater seasonal variability around the alpine regions, and there are a few notable systems over the next 2 weeks.

Southeast Australia

  • Polar airmass clips SE/NE Victoria on Saturday evening dropping snow as low as 600m

  • Frontal system on the 18th & follow-up strong front on the 21/22 SEP

NZ

  • Otago/South Island resorts have seen epic conditions in recent days

    • 30-60cm in the last 48 hours for the Otago ski areas

Europe

  • Expecting an exceptionally ‘early’ snow system

    • 1-2 metres expected over the next 72 hours
